OK, I have been having a strange issue over the last couple of weeks.

Note 9 (running One UI version 1.0, Android 9, security patch Feb 01 2019)

I have a network speed of a max 80 Mbps on provider supplied router (Pace).

Since I got this phone in November 2018 while on the 2.4 G band of my WI-FI I have been getting speeds anywhere between 40 - 70 Mbps depending on how many of my family are on the same band.

For the last 2 weeks, when connected on my 2.4 G I am getting a max speed of between 2.8 - 11 Mbps.

Everyone else in the house is running at over 40 Mbps.

I have turned off all the devices and mine is the only one on the 2.4 band and I still get the slow speeds.

The slowness happens on other 2.4 G bands on different networks as well. (I.E. Work WI-FI and friends homes)

It goes back up to over 40 if to do a reset of my network settings on my Note 9.

This seems to work for a couple of days then it gets limited to the low speed.

There is no network slowness if I connect to a 5 G WI-FI band. I have it at home but only 2.4 at work.

I really do not want to have to keep resetting my network settings and setting up all my Bluetooth devices over and over again.

If anyone has any thoughts or troubleshooting I can use to correct this issue I would greatly appreciate it.

It's your ISP. Access your router and change the channel settings. Try different channels during peak times. I have Rogers and was getting about 185⬇️ and 14⬆️...now I'm around 560/24 on average. Hope this helps!...and thanks for asking like a decent human being.

What's so funny? The fact that I understand how ISP's, networks, and routers work...enjoy your throttled bandwidth 😉

Thanks. I'll give that a try.
One question though. Why would that only affect my Note 9, none of the other devices are having the same issue?
