So some of you with a Note 9 might not know that in the S Pen settings, there's a feature called Alarm, this feature when enabled will sound an alarm if you walk away with your Note 9 and forget to put the S Pen back in. The feature worked every time I tested it, but the alarm sound by default isn't very loud, so if the phone is in your pocket, you might not hear it, and there's no way to change the alarm sound within the S Pen settings.
To resolve that issue, I downloaded an app called S Pen Keeper from the Google Play Store, it allows you to set a different notification sound for the S Pen alarm, and if you have a Samsung Gear S3 or Watch, you'll receive a notification on your watch.

Check out Note Buddy app on the Play Store - It SHOULD work on the Note9 🐧 Here's a link to a YouTube video for the Note8 🙂 I think that maybe a Vibration Alert would be more useful - Especially if you're in a noisy location 😉
@Cprice yeah - Google can be everyone's "friend" 😉 Searching SHOULD be a natural habit - Especially when you have the tools in your hand - It'd be like a smoker who has a lighter asking someone else for a light....
Not flawless though. I did a few tests when I got the Note 8 and I know there were certain circumstances where the alarm failed to notify that the S Pen was not in the phone. It also didn't rely on some distance to set off the alarm (which most think triggers the alarm). But that was with the Note 8. Not sure if they improved the detection with the Note 9.
The alarm is weak and vibration isn't that great as well on the Note 8. So it can easily be missed.
