Galaxy Note
Hi, Samsung:
If you are reading, please note that you are not "providing a great experience as first priority" as you said below.
If you are, then you should release monthly security patches for Oreo to all Galaxy devices as the schedules of Google's mobile devices. My Galaxy Note 9 is still running with Nov-01-2018 security patch in Jan-2019. I am one of the users who want to stay with Oreo to avoid software bug in the new Pie OS. If you only apply the latest security patch in Pie OS, what is left with the users who want to stick with Oreo?
Sincerely.

I am on a Galaxy A8 (2018) with Oreo edition through Roger's Wireless. A security update was released from Samsung on January 21, 2019 for the A8 which was 207 MB (yes MB 🤐) which didn't get sent to my device until January 23/24 (was around midnight +/- some) which was 1st update I have seen since the November security update. THAT I got mid December for some reason!! Not sure who's responsible for the final release, but do know that given how the BIG 3 of Canada seem to have a monopoly going on service, a manufacturer of any device would want to be sure that their products were at least going to be ready for market & live up to the brand name. Samsung may not be responsible for Android OS but if it is going to be competitive with Apple it should be asking these companies what they are doing to get the delivery done with some manner of reasonable practice! The end result is that the device is seen as a waste of $ & just not worth it when another product is readily available quicker.
