Does anyone in here experience having their expensive flagship phone suddenly going black screen? You can still feel the haptics and the notifications, but no display whatsoever. Damn, my phone is only 3 months old. Why is this happening to a flagship and expensive phone. I losing interest in buying this kind of stuff in the future.

hi, sorry to hear that. did you get any recent software updates? or anything that happened that physically affected your phone like a bump or a slight drop?

I just updated it to the latest update last night. And after, I think 5 hours and while watching netflix, it suddenly twitch and shut down or suddenly showed black screen but I can still feel its haptics and vibrations. :(

Have you tried phone shutdown and restart?

yup, i've tried it and still no luck of turning it on. it just keep on vibrating while i'm pressing the power button and the down volume key. i know it is open because i tried to call it and it is vibrating but no screen/display. i will bring it to samsung service center and i hope it is still covered.

I am sure it is still covered with Samsung Warranty.. My N20U is 6 months old, just got its One UI 3.1 update, how I wish to have a brand new replacement! But I love my phone.. maybe not 🙄

yup. i brought it earlier to samsung service center, and they said it was covered with samsung warranty. they will try to tweak the software (which will cause me data loss since i cannot back it up because it has no display) or replace the lcd screen (which is also not good since my phone will be considered opened unit). i-trade ko na lang kaya after? lipat na lang ulit ako iphone, kaso sayang samsung ecosystem ko this 2020.tsk.

Insist on unit replacement. Losing its screen display is MAJOR defect. Write to Samsung International to escalate. Write as comment in SamsungYoutubers' posts for suggestion/assistance like SAKITECH, JIMMY PROMO.. High-end phones should not be opened and lose its water proofing or sanitized factory environment when assembled..

Update: they are going to give me a brand new same model phone due to lack of replacement parts (in my case the LCD). Good thing.
