Galaxy Note
My Note 8 has started running scans to clean up garbage files and other types of device maintenance scans, every few minutes. See these screenshots.

It then displays 2 or 3 full page ads. This is happening every time I use my phone. I haven't installed any apps or made any changes in weeks. This started 2 days ago.
Does anyone know how to stop this?

It's from an app/malware that you downloaded from Playstore/pirated app stores, 100%. There's some tricky malware apps that stays on phone after installing, but don't do anything and then gets activated after weeks/months to confuse users like you.
You gotta find the culprit app then uninstall it, and it'll be fixed.

@bichonluv Yup For some reason the flashlight apps on the Play Store are consistently loaded with Malware!
