Sceen wont sleep when using loud speaker

Just noticed my screen keeps turning on when using the loud speaker for calls, Is there a setting to keep the screen off ?

Should turn off automatically unless something is triggering the proximity sensor?

Do not touch the screen when on loud speaker. When calling someone using the earpiece against your ear, the screen normally dims

I tried flipping the phone face down on the table and I could still see the screen turn on.
