I have a Samsung Note 10+ phone, and I am using Windows 10 PC and Whatsapp Web browser. When I drag and drop a video file taken very recently into the Whatsapp Web, it no longer shows a video preview, and has to be sent as a file. In the past, it was able to show a video preview. I realize this problem happened sometime this year, but cannot remember when it started.
A video taken in 2019 works in Whatsapp Web. After drag and drop from PC into Whatsapp Web browser, it is able to show a video preview and playable video.
This photo is an example where I drag and drop a video taken this year in 2021, into the Whatsapp Web browser, and can no longer show a preview video anymore and has to be sent as a file instead.
There is a possibility it has to do with the javascript programming of Whatsapp Web?
