Galaxy SThe Need for Camera Advancement
We seriously need camera upgrade and Samsung has just been a lackluster not upgrading their cameras at all, I understand reusing it for 1 or even 2 generation but they are pushing it with 3 or 4, its not always about more megapixek it kinda is but it doesn't tell tbe full story.
Focus on Sensor and Software
Sometimes needing to make the sensor bigger or putting a better sensor is much more needed, it already has 200MP while average human eye is 576MP what possibly could they go 400MP or 600MP its not going to make a 1980 flim or video game look like and fool people that its real lide, instead of gimmicky improvement make more useful improvement while utilizing software.
Color and Sharpening Concerns
Issue with Samsung photos they over sharpen where not everyone likes ocer saturated photo and even with natural it over sharpens the picture and there are people that love true to life, so Samsung should give us the opition for people who want true to life colors like iPhone and pixel, it doesn't do good job with dark colors where it makes the black look grey or messes with skin tones, similar story with tbe sky it over exposes these stuffs can be done using software
Hardware and Feature Suggestions
but image stabilization needs a better sensor, would also like to see 24MP become default like on iPhones, the main camera sensor they should actually use google pixel main camera or vivo these are the best camera on flagship
Selfie Camera Improvements
I feel like what they need to upgrade is the selfie camera and the zoom camera which have been terrible, its been the same as the s23 series the selfie camera where its actually worse the s20 ultra introduced a 40MP selfie and while megapixel doesn't tell the entire story s20 ultra s21 ultra and s22 ultra have better selfie camera and was years ahead of its competitor and with samsung downgrading the s23 ultra camera while upgrading the s23/+ from 10MP to 12MP but also brought the s23 ultra selfie camera in line with the s23/+ and its been the same, where now getting to 2026 and 12MP camera shouldn't even be a thing in a flagship device all cameras should be upgraded to 50MP or more
Telephoto and Zoom Camera Enhancements
The selfie camera should be 50MP on the ultra, where the telephoto camera also needs an upgrade the 3× sensor should be replaced with 4× 64MP or 5× 50MP telephoto camera and bring back the 10× parascope lens while making it 108MP, this can produce optical image like quality from 0.6× to 10× before s24 ultra.
Also add AI to extended zoom like pixel because 100× or maybe even go all ultra with 200× extended zoom and make it useful, its very pratical but still very gimmicky and having AI fill in the missing pixel gives us a more releastic parascope, being able to zoom
Practical Camera Upgrades
that far and see things are very pratical it may not be an everyday use but when it is its very pratical, maybe even go with a larger 200MP and parascope lens where the 200MP is a 1" from the 1/1.3" sensor and similarly with parascope
Macro Lens Enhancement
An addition giving us a macro lens would be a great addition specifically designed for extreme close-up photography.
It allows you to take detailed shots of small subjects like insects, flowers, or textures.
The macro lens has a very short minimum focusing distance, letting you get physically close to the subject and capture intricate details that would be blurry with a regular lens.
I know you could already do that but having it a dedicated lens would take it a notch further and I mean a high quality one not something useless like a low quality 3× telephoto which is just useless.
3D ToF Sensor Revival
Also bring back 3D tof sensor its much better than lesser auto focus sensor.
It's typically a sensor that works in conjunction with the other lenses.
Depth Sensor Functionality
Depth Sensor: A depth sensor, often a Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensor, measures the distance between the camera and objects in the scene.
This data is used to create a 3D map of the environment, enabling a more accurate portrait mode (also known as a bokeh effect), where the subject is sharp and the background is artfully blurred.
It also improves augmented reality (AR) applications.
Monochrome Sensor Capabilities
Monochrome Sensor: Some phones use a monochrome (black-and-white) sensor instead of a depth sensor.
It captures images without a color filter, which allows it to gather more light and record more detail.
This sensor's data is then combined with the main lens's color data to create a final image with enhanced sharpness, contrast, and low-light performance.
It's also used to produce high-quality, true black-and-white photos.
