Galaxy SHi Canadianchimes,
It is possible to retrieve a video from the Trash on your Samsung device as long as it hasn’t been permanently deleted. Here’s how you can do that:
Open the Gallery App: Go to your Gallery app on your Samsung phone. Access the Trash: In the Gallery, tap on the three dots (menu) in the top-right corner and select Trash. Alternatively, you can tap Albums, and you should see the Trash album listed there.
Select the Video: In the Trash folder, find the video you want to recover. Tap and hold the video thumbnail to select it.
Once selected, tap the Restore option (usually at the bottom) to move the video back to its original location in the Gallery.
If the video was in the Trash for more than 30 days, it may have been permanently deleted. If you don't see the option to restore, it may no longer be recoverable from the Trash.
Thank you.
