Ad /pop-up blocker

Can anyone recommend a ad , app ad blocker that doesn't use a vpn?

Reason i don't need it to have or use a vpn is because i use Samsung secure wifi.

For ad blocker you should use Firefox and add ad blockers to it. For app blockers, what is your concern? Is it malware?

Certain apps have pop-ups and they are annoying. I used Total Ad Block and Adguard before, and those annoying ad pop-ups in the app stopped. I just want an ad blocker that works on any browser and in all apps to block ads.

Brave for a browser as it has ad blocking built in.

I used Firefox with an adad blocker and it was great until I got messages that it is using a lot lot of battery. So uninstalled and using Chrome again unfortunately.
