For people who haven't already updated to One UI V7.0, the warning is moot, as Samsung had pulled the Update last Saturday. Since then, Samsung has confirm that the issues have been resolved, so when the One UI V7.0 update is available again, you should be fine to download & update your device.

This article is also from yesterday... and things have moved quickly & the situation has changed.

Now the big question is, for those that updated before it was paused... Are we going to get a patch?
Does it affect us? I installed it before they suspended the rollout. My battery has taken a significant hit whenever in use.

You can check to see if photos from your Secure Folder are able to be viewed outside of the Secure Folder.

If you have no issues unlocking your device, then it's most likely that you aren't affected.

Unfortunately Samsung Members Canada does not provide any information, unlike Samsung Members Korea... No idea if Samsung Members provides information in other countries?

One would like to think, that if the Canadian device is affected, Samsung would push an update.

Agreed. I don't use Secure folder. I have no issue unlocking. But I do have significant battery drain when phone is in use. Standby is fine. But the moment I start using it... battery just depletes much more quickly.

Did you Boot into Recovery & Wipe Cache? I know that you shouldn't have to, but I do that after EVERY OTA, including Security Patch Updates.. But after every Android version update, I ALWAYS Backup with Smart Switch & Factory Reset..

I've done a cache partition wipe before and after the install. I do this with every OTA too. I might need to do a factory reset when I have the time for it.
