Ok so 1st of all I love the samsung product but sometimes the updates create more problem than it fixes them. So I have the Samsung s8 and since the last 2updates,I've been having a few problems. First one, I keep getting ads popping up on my screen. Examples if it goes on sleep mode when i reopen it I have an ad,or if I'm searching for something same thing an ad popup. Sometime it's a full on screen page and other time it's just a little icon on the top right of the screen.(picture attach).I've try to close the notifications, close all the windows,disable ads nothing seems to work. Second problem, when I listen to music either on spotify, Samsung music or watching videos on YouTube it pause by itself for no reason, again I've try some of the things i saw around the internet, turning off power saving,etc. still nothing works. Before I try the hard reset is there something i can do to fix these problems?
My guess: the adware tries to play ads in the background. When new media is run, media that is currently running is paused, because the OS logically interprets that you want to listen to the new media since you logically opened it yourself.
Now here, by you I mean the current user. And the adware takes over your input, so for the OS the adware is you.
Oh that gave me an idea:
Open Settings, go to Applications, go to 3 dots, select Special access (or something similar), select Overlapping applications (or something like that). The malware has to be there.
You can also check Device admin apps and the other settings I highlighted. Malware usually end up there to make their removal harder
