So about 3 months ago, i posted something related to my earphones not working properly the right-left balance was gone. I thought this was a unit flaw and I filed for a replacement and got a new pair about 3 months ago. Now these have the same problem!.

Now here's what I discovered! The AKGs are made from braided nylon cables which during winters are prone to carry large amount of static through them. I get zapped in my right ear like 20 times a day. The shock can be strong and depends on how frequently you move. The shocks are max when I wear my winter jacket. So I have two bad pairs of earphones and the left piece of both earphones lost its sound and my left ear feels lonely.

Now if these cables were made with any other thread the chances of me getting zapped were low.

@wonchul @nick please consider this as a product feedback and please incorporate this into the next iteration of the earphones.

Thanks.

(will be looking for a new pair of earphones now, damn it!)
