I have a S20 plus, with Telus, and have installed the new Android 11 OS.  Since I have done that, my wifi keeps disconnecting constantly.  I have to shut the wifi off and back on again.  It lasts for a few minutes and the lose connection.  My wifi is good because every other device works fine and my phone does the same thing on the wifi at work.  Has anyone had this issue?  I'm really considering flashing back to Android 10.  Thanks!

I'm having the same issues on the Samsung galaxy z fold 2, its very annoying. The WiFi button keeps moving between on and off all the time! It comes to a point that I need to turn it off, when it comes on so it stops moving. And at least I can have internet on my phone. Hope someone has a solution!

  1. On android 11 , They put a extra step to enter RecoveryMode    You have to plug it into computer with usbTypeC cable   while connected  press hold power+VolUp.

If you see this comment, this is the actual fix for this issue.

You need to go to your wifi that you are connected to on your phone, open the settings of that specific wifi you are connected to on your phone and look for a setting which should be currently set to "Use Randomized MAC", all you want to do is change this to "Use Device MAC" qnd it should no longer drop your connection from this wifi and should stay connected when in range of this wifi.

Ive been testing all of these fixes that everyone has been saying and none of them worked till I did this.

Hello,
I'm using a Samsung s10 with android 11. I've been trying all fixes above and yours, but the problem still persist. It's very frustrating 😑 to have Wi-Fi disconnected every time. No valuable solution till now?

It is Novermber 2021 and I have now got this issue with My Samsung S10+5G. I have tried all the options... Cache Partition Reset, Network Reset, Safe Mode etc.... as suggested in this and other forums.  I have now just completed a Factory Reset, after using Smart Switch and saving a backup on my Windows Laptop.  After restoring from the Smart Switch Backup, a very tedious task, given that there is STILL the Wifi issue.  Will  SAMSUNG please look at this?  I have sent in a Members Error Log as well.. I am obviously not the only person having this issue. FRUSTRATING to say the least.
