Since upgrading my phone to the latest Android OS 12, my Android Auto keeps disconnecting, some of the features don't work great like they used to and app for the most part is rendered useless.

Anyone else having similar issues? If so, have you been able to fix them?

Check the usb cable, espacially when it's very cold.

Brand new Samsung branded cable and worked perfectly fine until the recent OS update.

I tried to do a partition clean through the bios of the phone. Will test things later today and see what the results are. Was told that could fix this issue as well.

Replugged it in and everything. It will work then just stop and then comeback on. This only started after the update. Never had an issue prior. Even had Mazda look at the USB connection and their testing found nothing wrong.

Did you try another phone in your car (so you know if it's the car/cable or the phone?)

Hi PasLor, I suggest you to perform a clear cache for Android Auto and get back to us with the results.

Clearing the app cache is kind of like a cleanse for your apps. It will get rid of residual files that could be slowing down the app.

From Settings, swipe to and tap Apps. Select the app you want to clear. Tap Storage, and then tap Clear cache.

I have and that didn't work. What I found worked was wipping my cache partition on my phone in the bios clean. So far today everything seems to being working. Even my bluetooth which would lose connection to my Samsung watch appears to be fixed.

So I tried all that you suggested and cleaned out the Cache partion and nothing has worked. It worked for a couple of days, and yet again it disconnects, attempts to use voice commands will at times cause an error and the phone disconnects from my car.
