I have the s20+ and I have been using it since the morning from 100% charge, I have 33% left. Meaning I used 67% but when I go to device care and check battery usage for the day for individual apps, it adds up to not more than 50%. And I'm not even getting the advertised battery life. I upgraded from the s10e to this one because of battery life not being good and whenever I took it to Samsung, the tech would run a diagnostic test and tell me the battery is good even though on the last phone my battery used to die at 30%. Any suggestions? Is it a bug or maybe something wrong with how my Google account is set up and doing something in the background?
I had 5 hours 50 minutes of screen on time. And my display is FHD+ -60 Hz.

Hi @Rahulrajrai,

Try to reboot your device and check sometimes a simple reboot will fix the issues. Also, check for the updates and update your device.

You can try to wipe the cache partition of your device and check if that fixes the issue. Follow the below steps to wipe the cache partition of your device.

Turn off the device >> Then, Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby / Power key >> When the Android logo displays, release both keys >> An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear >> Use Volume buttons to scroll down and the Power key to accept it >> Then highlight Wipe cache partition using volume keys >> Then, Select “Yes” >> Reboot the device once the wipe cache partition process is complete.

I hope it will fix the issue.

Thanks I'll give it a try although my phone is only a week old. I didn't expect it to be a problem with the cache so never thought of doing this

Hi Kinsley,

I cleared my cache per the steps you listed. However, the percentage of my battery used in 37 mins is 8%, but the percentage of the apps used is only adding up to 4.2%.  I've seen this for a while. What else is using the battery? My Care Report has information "Abiut dropping your phone". Could this mean my phone has battery damage due to dropping the phone? I ran diagnostics, and it said my battery was normal.

Hi, I have the exact same problem as you. Have you found a fix?
