Galaxy SIf there is any issue with the Battery, a battery saving mode won't address the problem, even if the battery lasts longer. You are giving up performance.
Start with opening the Samsung Members app and run the Diagnostics for the Battery.
If it's saying that it is "good", it could be more apps are running in the background. Put unused apps to "sleep".
Check that other apps are "Optimized".
Last things, if you haven't, Boot into Recovery & Wipe Cache.
If you are SURE that the Battery isn't lasting as long as before, you could always backup your device with Smart Switch & Factory Reset.
