big game breaking bug in android pie for s9plus

Hi guys,
I just updated my phoneto the latest android pie release and discovered one really bad bug in the new update.
In dex mode i used to game allot with an bluetooth controller. Now since the update the controller's dpad only works when the phone lcd screen is still on. Once the lcd dims out the dpad is not responding anymore. The only way to make the dpad work is to touch the home buton or touch the screen to light it up.
Basicaly any gaming in dex mode is non functional right now unless you want to touch evry 20 secs the lcd screen to keep it alive.
Any solutions on this ?

most issues you're going to have with one can't be fixed. the clock can't be moved, Bixby can't be fixed, the horrible look of the whole ui can't be changed. I'm sorry you too updated before researching.

Every complaint you have has a solution - even multiple solutions - Go back to Oreo & and "enjoy" an inferior Android version without any Security Updates...I wouldn't ever consider going backwards with Android development - Learn to adapt... There's always a few people who will always complain about anything that is new - better & different... (Good thing that you probably weren't using telephones when they switched from rotary dial to touch tone lmao) That's just sad 🐧

As for the original question from @Anonymous IF there's an issue with Dex mode - it's likely to be fixed in a future patch

I paid 1200 for this phone you ******* , I think I should have some ******* choice over my layouts and designs. the fact I have to buy a computer just to move the clock to the correct side just breaks your argument. Samsung has always been pro choice and giving the most power to the user. I know I can fix it by moding my phone. why dont you **** off and realize we shouldn't have to go through all that just to have our phone the way we want.

The new UI looks better, yes Bixby blows, simple fix for the clock (learn why Androids were created), and anything else you need to harp on about. Be quite simple to go back to Oreo but hey you already demonstrated you have ZERO clue about Android devices and such...hell even Shaggyskunk is starting to get p!ssed and he has always been chill lol

how? because I'm pissed that my phone is worse off than it was? and I live in Canada so yeah galaxy's are worth 1200, so I fucking expect some quality and thought to be put into every single detail. and for the thousandth time motherfucker I don't have a computer to use abd. why should I need to mod my phone or fucking factory data reset it just to fix something so simple? fuck all you sheep who just accept inferior products and fanboy so hard you cant see this is exactly how apple became what they are today. got your phone so far up your ass you can't feel Samsung kicking you there

dude chill out, it's your fault you got ripped off with the price of your phone, I'm in Quebec, Canada and purchased from my carrier the s9 + (that's the bigger model with 2 cameras) without a plan for 1049.99. On launch day, I didn't wait for the phone to drop in price either.
As for what you want done on your phone and saying you have the right to customize stuff the way you want, not even the stock android on pixel will give you unlimited options, so if you don't like the limited options given to you, stop complaining and get started on programming you're own custom Android Operating System.

@joeman, you're nothing but a whiner, that's all you do, complain, complain, complain. There's nothing wrong with your phone, the problem is the person using it (this means you). You call everybody here a sheep and being big time fanboys, well guess what dingbat, you must be a sheep and more of a fanboy of Samsung then anyone here in the community, only a real deal fanboy would complain and defend themselves with such passion, so I guess we really know who's can't feel Samsung kicking them there.
Anyway, if you're unhappy, go but something else, take your complaining with you and don't let the Samsung Members community door hit you on the way out.
