Call Barring not working

Hi everyone.
I have an S8 that when I try to use call barring it says Gailed to read data, call barring rejected.
I have cleared the cache and even reseted the entire phone twice.
Can this be the company SIM?
Because I have contacted them and support end up tell me to contact Samsung, I did and was told to reset or bring the phone to repair, but the phone is already months so warranty is over.
Any one with this problem.
The carrier is Canadian Videotron.

Hi @Poveiro, I suggest that you ensure that the password you are using to set the call barring is correct. If you are unsure if your password is correct, you can try changing your password by going into: phone > three dot menu icon > settings > more settings > Call barring > three dot menu icon > change password, and then trying again. If you are unable to change the password and unsure what the password should be I suggest calling your carrier and checking with them. If the issue persists, please take your device to your local Samsung Service Center so that they can physically inspect your device (http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/servicelocation/). Thanks!

the password never shows. I get the error Failed to read data. The password case never comes on.

Hello. I have the same problem on Galaxy A70 phone. What did u do to solve it eventually?

Removed the contry code so calls couldn't be done by mistake.
Besides that nothing else, just give up. Cell company's there crooks.
