I was forced into the 7.0 update yesterday and in addition to all of the new changes being clunky, the opposite of being "streamlined", the wierd pill like battery bar that looks awful, and multiple compatibility issues, I went into my camera today and the photo quality has immediately changed.

My pictures on all zoom lenses and self mode are trainer and lower quality, less sharp than previous. I have already cleared my cache and reset my camera settings to no avail.

Not to mention why is there no an additional option bar on the right lower side of the camera. I'm being forced to click and or srool additional times rather than just have the icons I use regularly be available at the top?!?!? Who on earth at Samsung thought that hiding these common buttons behind an additional clunky bar was a good idea?!?!?

Please give us the option to revert to them previous camera. There are so many issues, and this camera was the main reason I bought a Samsung phone. I am fully prepared to sell it and bail if these camera issues aren't fixed.

Hi TS1235,

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback with us. We truly understand how important the camera experience is, and we’re sorry to hear that the recent update hasn't met your expectations.

We absolutely recognize that not all changes work well for every user, and your experience is important to us.

Our team is currently reviewing user feedback to identify any regressions or performance inconsistencies. We encourage you to submit an error report through the Samsung Members app with sample images. This will help our developers investigate the issue more accurately.

Open the Samsung Members app. Tap Support > Send Feedback > Error Reports > Camera. Include photos taken before and after the update, if possible, and your device information.

In the meantime, you may find our Camera Assistant module helpful—it’s available via the Galaxy Store and offers customizable settings that can help restore certain camera behaviors, including toggling off auto HDR or prioritizing image sharpness.

We also appreciate your feedback about the updated UI design. Your suggestion to bring back quick-access buttons in the camera interface has been noted and will be shared with our development team.

We understand your concerns and are committed to improving your experience with future updates. Please continue to share your feedback—your voice plays a vital role in shaping the direction of our software.
