Galaxy SI have been having an issue with PDF's not saving properly from other apps to my phone. I have been using Office Lense which is a Microsoft app to scan documents using my phones camera however I cannot save these files to my phone. They do not appear in any of the files on my phone even if I save them to a specific file. I'm not sure if its a problem with the app itself or my phone not communicating with the app properly.
I have also had some issues with the Samsung notes app. I will open up PDF's in the app and annotate them with my S-pen but then the only part of the new document that is saved and can be viewed is my annotations. The content of the original PDF is gone.
Hopefully some suggestion will work to fix this issue.

Galaxy SHey Annand,
Welcome to the Samsung members community.
Please contact the Office Lens app developer to get it fixed as we do not have tested information with the third-party apps.
You should always make sure to keep Samsung Notes updated, in case any new note-taking features are added. Samsung Notes has features that will make organizing your notes much easier.
Organize your notes: You can use several different features to organize your notes. Tap More options (the three vertical dots), and then tap Edit. Select your desired notes, and then choose your desired option. You can tap Move to place them in a different folder, tap Share to send them elsewhere, or tap Delete to remove them from your phone.
You can back up your notes using your Samsung account or the different file options.
Tap Menu (the three horizontal lines), and then tap the Settings icon. Tap Sync with Samsung account, and then allow the permissions.
If you want to save your note as a different type of file, you have plenty of choices. You can save it as a PDF, Microsoft Word file, a PowerPoint file, an image, or a text file. Select the note that you want to back up, and then tap More options (the three vertical dots). Next, tap Save files as, and then select your desired file format.

Galaxy SI just tried Office Lens and saved the scanned document in my phones Gallery.
Check out the link below for some alternative apps for scanning PDF

Galaxy SDo you have Acrobat for Samsung app? If you do, try uninstall and re-install it.
