From within Messenger, I can share photos from Gallery to my contacts.
However, if I try to share photos directly from Gallery, a permissions warning shows about enabling Camera Roll permissions (image below) ... but there is no specific Camera Roll setting. (This used to work until recently). Any ideas how to fix this?

Worked for me too! It's hilarious because even a techy user like myself couldn't even figure it out without looking around online for help. Thanks!

So frustrating. I had the same issue. Even though photos and videos were set to allowed. What we did to get it working again: set photos and videos to not allowed. Then go back in and allow photos and videos.

Uninstall facebook messenger and reinstall, after that messenger will ask you to allow follow the steps and you are none.
