would changing the CSC on my s8 to a different carrier allow me to take advantage of that carriers "perks"? my carrier doesn't have certain things that I want (they are irrelevant) but still want to try them if it would work.
@cprice bought his s8 from Samsung store unlocked paid outright. He changed CSC to bell because he is on bell network. He can enjoy all those bell perks.
Exactly, changing CSC to another carrier might show new features in the OS, but they won't work if your current carrier doesn't support the features. Example: if a carrier offers WiFi calling and your current carrier doesn't, changing your CSC to the carrier who offers it won't make WiFi calling work if your provider doesn't offer it.
