I tried different Canadian carriers, and none of them worked, but when i use that of T-mobile or Comcast, I'm available to see firmware to download. What do you think the problem may be ?

You are probably putting a "U/U1" in the model number, instead of a "W".

If you're having trouble with this part, which is pretty simple.. I'm not sure if you should try this. 

Maybe just buy a Canadian device.

I got it should i use the home csc or the normal csc

Just use CSC. You will have to Factory Reset regardless.
