Galaxy SHi,
On a Galaxy S9, the text color on the home screen is automatically adjusted based on the wallpaper for better contrast. Unfortunately, there isn't a direct option to manually change the text color to black. However, you can try these steps to make the text easier to see:
Change Wallpaper: Choose a lighter wallpaper to ensure the text automatically changes to black. Go to Settings > Wallpaper and style, or long-press on the home screen > Wallpapers.
Some themes or wallpapers cause transparent notifications. Switching to a high-contrast theme can help: Go to Settings > Themes and search for "High Contrast."
Thank you.
