I wonder if Samsung will create longer charging cables, 4.9 ft isn't always long enough, a 6 ft cable would be nice, i have tried multiple brands in the after market there not reliable, often the c plug isn't the proper size & they are loose causing issues, i want to stay with oem but there to short, why hasn't Samsung made longer cables, i wonder why the company hasn't figured it out by now, i am starting to wonder if i have to canbilize a Samsung cable for the plugs & get a longer & thicker cable.

I have a few after market cables and they've all worked without issue, including the long ones. Just purchase a quality cable from Amazon. They have cables that are long, solid, and come with small/, narrow plugs.

Not ours, The same cables purchased at best buy, they lasted a year before becoming loose at the c connection, we tried from Amazon, same issue, the only ones that fit snug are the OEM from Samsung, i got ded up & used a micrometer to measure the difference, so *** minute that it shouldn't be loose but they are one is brand OLESIT from Amazon, that one jiggles in the socket of the phone, but the Samsung cable is just snug, so i figure the cable connectors have worn out, i never buy cheap dollar store stuff for my devices, i know how bad the quality is, but thes from Amazon & best buy, why other than wear & tear yet the Samsung cable i have is over 8 year's old it was dor my s21, it still works fine it's just short at 4.9 ft.
I wanted a 6 ft cable to reach from the wall plug to my work station, i don't have room on the power bar, so i purchased a long cable at first there snug but after a year & warranty is up they start to give me issues,

I've purchased the UGREEN USB C Cable 100W for others and they've worked well. $15 for the two pack of 6ft cables.

Another option is to plug your Samsung cable into your workstation.

I just checked them out, seems interesting,
But i am no longer a fan of Amazon, but if there prices are reasonable & the quality is as you say,
Because i don't take to spending $100.00 for something that's not going to cut it & that will let me down after 365 day's. If o purchase something expensive i like it to last, to get my money's worth.

UGREEN and Anker make some of the best charging cables I've ever used. The build quality is excellent, and from my experience, they’re designed to last for a long time without degrading.

For phone charging specifically, I recommend the Anker 313 Charger (30W). I got a 2-pack for around $30 CAD (approximately $20 USD), and they’ve been amazing.

The quality is top-notch, they work flawlessly, and they’re a fantastic value for the price.

Hi pirattemobille,

It’s understandable to want a longer charging cable that still meets the quality and reliability of Samsung’s OEM products. Your concerns about aftermarket cables being loose, unreliable, or causing issues are valid.

We will consider this as a valuable feedback. Thank you for sharing your feedback and suggestions for longer cables.
