I often receive multiple messages from people in two different languages, but Bixby is set to default English, but some messages are in french & it seems as if Bixby tries to read French words in English wich makes absolutely no sense what so ever, instead of having to olay with the language setings each time, is there a way for Bixby to be able to recognize the written language of the messages to be able to read back properly.

Hi pirattemobille,

We certainly understand your concern. Currently, Bixby cannot automatically detect multiple languages in a message and switch between them for proper pronunciation. It reads text in the language set as the default in its settings, which leads to the issue you're experiencing when receiving messages in both English and French.

You can manually switch Bixby to French when needed. Open Bixby Settings > Language and Voice Style > Select French.

This is tedious, but it ensures proper pronunciation for French messages.

However, we will make sure it will be considered as a valuable feedback and definitely bring this to our team for review. Hopefully, Bixby supports automatic language detection in future updates.

Meanwhile, you can use Google Text-to-Speech, which may automatically detect and switch languages based on the input text.

Thank you for your feedback.

Can you ask the conception team to maybe see if they can maybe see how to create it, as I can't always stop to read the messages especially on the road. It's a safety hasard, forget pulling over in traffic.
