Earphone sound balance.

Is it just me? or the sound balance on akg earphones is messed up. When I listen to music, some sounds are louder in one ear than another for the whole song. This problem is removed when I turn on Mono audio on Sound Assistant. I hope this problem can be fixed in a firmware update. Also no my ears arent the problem, I switch the sides and the problem is still present.

Did you tried other earphones to see if they all have the same problem? If they have the same problem, it is due to the firmware.

Hey Daveboss7,
Please perform the wipe cache partition of the device and get back to us with the results.
If the device is not working correctly, you may need to master reset it and also clear the cache partition. These two resets clear different parts of the device storage. Unlike a master reset, wiping the cache partition does not delete your personal data.
1. Turn off the device.
2. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby / Power key.
3. When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
4. An 'Installing system update' message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear.
5. Press the Volume down key several times to highlight Wipe cache partition.
6. Press Bixby / Power key to select.
7. Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Bixby / Power key to select.
8. When the process is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
9. Press the Bixby / Power key to restart the device.

I wiped the cache and nothing changed.

Hi Daveboss7, Could you please let us know the model number of your Samsung device. I suggest you to please try opening the Settings >> Accessibility >>  Hearing/Hearing enhancements >> Now adjust the "Sound balance" accordingly and check if the issue got resolved. Please make sure you insert the pin properly and remove any third-party case and check if the issue got resolved.
