Galaxy SI have the exact same problem on my A54 phone. As of 7:04AM this morning (2/20/25), none of my email accounts will sync. I have 2 that are hotmail and 2 that are outlook. Everything was working fine yesterday. I have an A9+ tablet and it is still syncing perfectly.
I spent a bunch of time online with Samsung chat support and tried everything mentioned here. Ended up the destructive path of Clear Cache and Clear Data not realizing that was going to delete all my email accounts. After that, they had me delete and reinstall the Samsung Email app and try readding accounts. Tried 3 of the 4 and they all end up with a "Couldn't verify account" popup and I can guarantee that my credentials are correct. One of the accounts is set up for Microsoft Authentication including thumbprint, so I know it isn't a credentials issue on Microsoft's side.
Chat line was stumped and asked me to contact Samsung Accounts support (855-795-0509) which I have tried multiple times and I'm on music hold for about 10 minutes and then disconnected.
In the meantime, I installed Outlook for Android and was able to add email accounts, so again, this isn't a Microsoft credentials problem.
And since they had me Clear Data and my accounts were all deleted from the mail app, all of my contacts and calendar data went with it. 😡😡

Galaxy SSorry for your troubles, not my doing but man you're h8jacking another persons thread which is resolved.
First take a breathe. "Breathe deeply daniel-son. IIIIIN then Oooooout. INNNNN oOOOOoout" ;)
So, the Tab A9 works without issue.
A54 phone let's take it from the top.
Not region lovked outside of Canada right? This is a Canadian forum.
Next concentrate using mobile data ONLY - disconnecting from WiFi which could be port limited to access your accounts.
1. Can you access your mailboxes via the browser online?! Of yes then that's good. 1b) verify your contacts are there.
2. Hotmail should ONLY be setupnas Hotmail in the Samsung Email app. Not as yahoo or Exchange etc. Regardless what you think it's NOT exchange: it's IMAP/Pop3.
2. Ensure your Hotmail is removed and select Hotmail setup in Email app. Carefully follow the steps. If you have MFA for authentication follow through when prompted and GRANT the app permission(s) when prompted.
Outlook accounts the same.
Now within the Email app for EACH account in settings there will be a listing for Contacts - enable this.
In your Samsung Contacts app you can now enable Contacts to sync with those accounts. Careful of local contacts as these may create duplicate entries. Keep Cloud as primary source if you prefer.

Galaxy SSorry, I didn't realize this was a Canadian community, I'm in the US. When I searched, this was the most relevant and recent so I jumped in. I've been using Android on Samsung and Microsoft email accounts for decades so I am very familiar with the process. Since email was syncing last night and broke sometime after 7:04AM today, it has to be a Samsung issue. I'm going to try calling the number again tomorrow and see if I can get through.

Galaxy SJust tried again with wifi turned off and still had the same result. Tried 2 accounts, one that uses Microsoft Authenticator and biometrics and one that is just a password. Both returned the couldn't verify account popup.

Galaxy SDoes the Samsung Email App show the accounts and their settings within?
OK time to look alternatively using the Outlook for Android App or K-9 Mail app (it's essentially Mozilla Thunderbird in beta and progress)
If either of those apps configured successfully (and or you're able to load a browser in incognito or private mode and MFA authenticate to Portal.Office.Com then
1 your account number password and MFA are working.
2 you can verify the account settings for each mailbox and adjust accordingly in the Samsung Email app.
Curious is there a VPN app in use on your phone that potentially could be affecting this whole setup?!
