We completely understand how concerning that situation must have been, especially while driving. Safety is always our top priority, and unexpected behavior like this is definitely something we want to look into.
The issue seems to stem from a conflict between the Media Volume Limit and Bluetooth audio handoff, which may trigger an unresponsive state. We recommend:
Clearing Bluetooth cache: Settings > Apps > Show system apps > Bluetooth > Storage > Clear cache
Updating your phone's software and reporting the issue via the Samsung Members app under Get help > Error reports so our engineers can investigate further.
