Can't add my Canadian debit card on samsung wallet

I am writing to seek assistance with an issue I am experiencing with my Samsung Galaxy S23 wallet app. I purchased the device one year ago from a Middle Eastern country and have since relocated to Canada due to family circumstances. I am attempting to add my Canadian debit card, issued by BMO, to the wallet app, but I am unable to do so. When I open the app, it only displays Middle Eastern countries as options.

I kindly request your guidance in resolving this matter, as it is causing me significant inconvenience. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Unfortunately, you can't add a Canadian Debit / Credit card to Samsung Wallet in Canada, for a device from another region.

Try Google Wallet.

I did find a method if I could change my region from imei code on phone dialer

Hi megamanX12,

Samsung Wallet is country specific and will only work for the country where it was first registered.

Unfortunately, you cannot register Samsung wallet in a country other than where the phone was purchased.
