Recently I'm constantly getting this notification on my S8 that Facebook app manager is giving performance issues and that it could potentially drain battery. I close the app everytime the notification prompts me, but the message comes up again after half an hour or so. Is there a fix for this?

I have never had that issue, I would suggest uninstalling and then reinstalling Facebook and see if that solves the issue or you could also try clearing the data of Facebook app manager.

Hey @leolionhunt, we've actually had a couple other similar reports of the Facebook app causing a notification saying that it's causing performance issues/battery drain. Our HQ team is currently looking into this. In the meantime, what I've seen work for other users on the forum is to optimize your device. That should prevent the message from appearing again.

I've been getting this too. But started with facebook messenger then Amazon and on to the facebook app. What do you mean by optimize your phone?
