Galaxy S
hi all....
I recently updated my s8 to oreo. Have run into a problem with secure folders and fingerprint auth (fpa). After rebooting the phone I can use finger print auth on all my usual apps that I have the feature enabled for. if I try to use fpa to enter secure folders it will not work so I use pin as it states on the screen after a reboot. exit out and try to use fpa ... no go. can use pin no issues. now the strange part... fpa will not work on any other apps outside or inside the secure folders untill I reboot the phone again. all the same rules apply as stated above. any thoughts?
thanks in advance!!

to add to this...
if I lock the screen, Wich I can use fpa to unlock, then the non sec folders apps that need fpa work fine. but as soon as I use fpa on sec folders it stops working again.

@rlhc, did you boot into recovery and wipe the data cache or a factory reset, factory reset is always a good idea after updating to a new OS, just remember to backup first.

Hey @rlhc, could you please contact your local Samsung Service Center (http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/servicelocation/) for physical inspection of your device? Thanks!
