October 2024 security update for the Galaxy S24 series has started rolling out. The Galaxy S24 FE was the first device to receive the update, and now it's available for the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra.
The update is currently available in the US for network-locked units. Unlocked units will receive the update later. This monthly update includes fixes for over 40 critical and high-level vulnerabilities.
Galaxy S24 base model owners can identify the update with the software version S921USQS3AXI1. Galaxy S24 Plus users can recognize it with the software version S926USQS3AXI1. For the Ultra model, the update comes with version S928USQS3AXI1.
