I wanted to acknowledge that the recent update has significantly resolved the display washout issue on the S24 series.
Comparing several high-quality videos and pictures with my S22, one by one, with the same brightness and resolution, I must say the resemblance is uncanny!
If you are like me and your eyes are used to previous color profiles, just make sure to set the screen mode to Vivid and, most importantly, go to the advanced settings and maximize the Vividness.
That's how I achieved a color result that matches my S22 Ultra.

The display is absolutely better but the settings are still broken. Changing between natural and vivid shows no change nor does adjusting white balance, blue and red. I'm happy with what I'm seeing but broken settings are a problem
