How do i search for apps in power saving mode?

After an update im no longer able to search for apps when using battery saving mode. This was my way of opening apps that were not on my home screen. Is there another way to do this?

There used to be a search button in the top right.

Are you able to search for apps with Battery Saving turned OFF? 

You could always try Booting into Recovery & Wipe Cache, but if you can Search for apps with Battery Saving Off, then it might be an intended limitation of Battery Saving mode.

Same problem with my Galaxy A73. This is no value addition. Wish I had not installed the update.

Samsung must restore the search button in power saver mode.
