I used to be able to before I installed the new update but after I installed it I can't anymore, I've tried restarting my phone turning on and off power saving mode and I legitimately can't search there anymore ???? I use low power mode to not have extra stuff going on and it's easier for me to use but if I can't open apps other than the ones on my homepage that's really annoying and kind of stupid.

Hi Yikairo,

We are sorry to hear about the buggy experience on the device and certainly understand your disappointment on this.

Are you able to search for apps with Battery Saving turned off?

You could always try Booting into Recovery & Wipe Cache, but if you can Search for apps with Battery Saving Off, then it might be an intended limitation of Battery Saving mode.

If you wipe your cache partition, it removes any temporary files that may be causing some problems or issues with your device, all of your personal files and/or settings will not be affected when you wipe cache partition.

1. Hold the Power button and Volume Down to open the power options where choose the Power off.

2. When the screen goes dark press the Volume Up and Power keys together.

3. Let go of all held buttons when you see the Recovery mode on the screen.

4. Then you should select Wipe cache partition. Use Volume Up to navigate and the Power button to accept it.

5. Choose Yes and press the Power key to confirm that operation.

6. After that select Reboot system now with the Power key.

Thank you.
