Guys i need help please. I just got an s9+ second hand but I'm trying to updating the software but when i press the update software manually option nothing happens. What should i do

Use your laptop instead and go to the Samsung site...support menu.

Since you purchased it used, it's important to find out if it's a Canadian device, & if it is, has the US Firmware been Flashed on it. 

 

So first off, what is the model number in Settings "About Phone" ( post a screen shot if you want).

Second if it's the Canadian S9+, what does it say in Settings > About Phone > Status Information, does it say "Official"?

Should have asked this earlier, but when you go to Settings > Software Update, does it actually check to see if you have the latest firmware, or it just doesn't do anything?

Do you see something like the screen shot?
