Galaxy SHi Alexdeso,
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you are experiencing with your device’s camera following the upgrade to One UI 8. We understand how frustrating it must be to encounter repeated “Camera Failure” errors, especially after trying multiple troubleshooting steps without success.
To assist further, please try the following recommendations:
-
Check for Software Updates: Navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and install to ensure the latest patches are applied.
-
Update All Apps: Confirm that the Camera app and related system apps are updated via the Galaxy Store and Google Play Store.
-
Safe Mode Test: Boot the device into Safe Mode (press and hold Power button > tap and hold Power off > select Safe Mode) to determine if third‑party apps are interfering with camera functionality.
-
Clear Cache/Data for Camera App: Go to Settings > Apps > Camera > Storage and clear cache. If the issue persists, try clearing data (note: this may reset app preferences).
-
Check Storage and Permissions: Ensure sufficient storage space is available and that camera permissions are enabled for relevant apps.
If the issue continues after these steps, we kindly recommend submitting an error report through the Samsung Members app > Support > Send feedback > Error reports. This will provide our engineering team with detailed logs to investigate the matter thoroughly.
