Here are the details of my problem: I take a screenshot, the screenshot toolbar appears, I tap the photo on the left of the toolbar, and my print app opens by default. The gallery app used to open instead. That's what I'm attempting to revert as my default.

I've already checked the settings on the Samsung Capture, print, and gallery apps; I can't find a way to change the print app default in these menus. I've also searched for videos, forum posts, and tech websites about this without success.

Does anyone know how I can change this back to my original default?

Hi PeterSpring,

If you haven’t already, please try resetting all app preferences by going to: Settings > Apps > three-dot menu > Reset app preferences.

This will reset default apps, notification settings, and background data restrictions—but it won’t delete any personal data.

After doing this, try tapping the screenshot preview again. Your device should prompt you to choose an app (such as Gallery or Google Photos). You can then select your preferred app and set it as the default.

Let us know if this resolves the issue!
