If I remember you just hold two fingers on the screen until it turns off!

Have you tried to access the settings, tap Accessibility and look for something that refers to speech, such as TalkBack or Voice Assistance and see if there is anything enabled (that you could turn off)?

Hi, please follow the steps below to disable the Screen Reader feature.

Using two fingers, swipe up on your home screen, to access your apps >> Tap Settings >> Once Settings is selected with the focus box, double tap anywhere on the screen >> Using two fingers, swipe up to navigate to the end of the Settings menu >> Tap Accessibility >> Once Accessibility is selected with the focus box, double tap anywhere on the screen >> Tap 1 function in use >> Once 1 function in use is selected with the focus box, double tap anywhere on the screen >> Tap Turn off >> Once turn off is selected with the focus box, double tap anywhere on the screen to turn the feature off.

The Screen Reader feature is now disabled and the Voice Assistant will stop dictating your actions. Your phone will also revert to the original controls.
