Hi ˢᵒⁿᶦᵈᵉ,

If call recording is supported on your device, you won't see a toggle to enable or disable it in settings. Instead, during an active call (once the other party answers), a call recording icon should appear in the Phone app interface typically near the keypad or in the three-dot menu.

Tapping that icon will start recording, and you’ll hear a voice prompt informing both parties that the call is being recorded, as required by local regulations.

Thank you.

What if the other person calls me and i answer? Is it still considered an active call?

The restriction on this is silly BTW. Canada has single party consent and there is no requirement to inform anyone that you are recording a call (unless you are intercepting and recording a call between two other parties).

The OS is customized by Country so this should be fixed.
