Since the camera has no dedicated pet or sports mode, how do I take unblurry pic of moving pets and kids indoor? I know there is a pro mode and setting high shutter speed but pro mode always results in highlight clipping and there is also no HDR in pro mode.

Try enable "Tracking Auto-Focus".

Open Camera -> Settings-> Tracking auto-focus1731306588865.jpg

Hi rexryan,

Did you try the suggestions by Tallman to enable Tracking auto focus? With Tracking Auto-Focus enabled, your camera will continuously track a subject you tap on, keeping them in focus even as they move.

Thank you.

It tracked the object but it's no good coz the shutter speed was too slow. The camera was using shutter of 1/30s , iso500. All pictures came out blurry.

I suggest try taking picture using Expert Raw as it does have HDR and you can adjust shutter speed and iso.

Thanks for the suggestion. That's unnecessarily complicated for taking daily photos.

To get a shutter speed that will freeze action shots your ISO level will be so high that the picture will be very grainy.

that's the best tradeoff to have. I feel that the camera AI just arent that smart vs pixels or iphone
