I'm trying to open my samsung notes

One of my files is protected by a password

When I press to open it it says

WE COULDNT VERIFY YOU

You entered your password 0 times wrong

try again in 2,238,000 seconds

That's in like 250 days 

I didnt even have a chance to enter a password

How can I get past this?

Are you Samsung Notes backed up? If yes, you can try going into Settings>Apps and look for Samsung Notes and delete data and cache, then restore your notes from your backup and then see if you can access your protected file.

thank you , I managed to retrieve access by resetting my samsung password .
not the password to notes.

it then cleared the 2.3 million second wait time to try again.

it's so wierd that it went to 2.3 million seconds ,
must be a glitch.

I've never seen a try your password again take so long.

anyways thank you, it's working now and I have made a copy of my notes.
