Icloud to one drive to view in gallery app

I recently transferred all my iCloud photos to OneDrive, but I am unable to view them in the Samsung Gallery app. The photos are only accessible through the OneDrive gallery.

Is there a way to view all the pictures in the Samsung Gallery, similar to how Apple photos saved on iCloud can still be viewed in the Photos app on Apple devices?

If you are Syncing your Gallery with One Drive, you can view your photos in One Drive by selecting "synced photos", but those are photos that are already in the Gallery. 

You won't be able to view photos that are not synced afaik.

To view your OneDrive photos in the Samsung Gallery app, follow these steps:

1. Link OneDrive to Samsung Gallery:

   • Open the Samsung Gallery app.
   • Go to settings by tapping on the three dots or the gear icon.
   • Look for an option like cloud sync or Link one drive.
   • Sign in to your OneDrive account and allow the necessary permissions.

2. Sync OneDrive Photos:

   • Once linked, select the folders from OneDrive that you want to sync with the Samsung Gallery.
   • Make sure the sync with onedrive option is enabled.

3. View Photos in Gallery:

   • After syncing, your OneDrive photos should appear in the Samsung Gallery app, just like your local photos.
   • If you still don’t see the photos, try refreshing the Gallery app or restarting your device.

This should allow you to view all your OneDrive photos directly in the Samsung Gallery app.

MS OneDrive should have the following directory hierarchy listed once instructions by @RedDogRabbit has been done.

For ease of use:
Pictures, DCIM, (then any folders therein)

Amen synced on your Galaxy it'll be:
Internal storage, DCIM.
