It looks like Samsung has Cloud Backup & Restore on by Default?

From what I've seen it seems like Cloud Backup & Restore is on by Default and before you know it you have used 3 Gig+ of your WiFi usage....That's not a problem if you have an Unlimited WiFi Plan - But for those who don't - It's annoying - So if I'm correct and Cloud Backup & Restore is enabled by Default - My suggestion is to Have Cloud Backup & Restore OFF by Default and let the user decide 🐧

I think it does not Autosync if the network is set as metered. Also metered WiFi is an abomination, like metered LTE. CRTC should outlaw these plans

Yeah I'm not sure if it's metered (if you mean that there's a monthly amount of usage included - then yes it would be metered) the cost is something like $30 for 15 Gig and you can get an additional 25 Gig for $5.00 more per month...with Videotron - I don't know if this is a good deal or not - I haven't really bothered to check - But maybe I should 😉🐧

You are saying about WiFi no? If so, this is not a good deal. And yes, this is metered

Yeah WiFi and I should get off my butt and have a look at finding a plan that IS a good deal 🐧

Yeah it caught me off guard at first as well....it should be an opt-in feature. I personally don't use it for photos ... only contacts. I don't use cloud services at all actually. have my own server at home that lets me access anything I need online.

Agree 100% Should be opt in - I'm not a big fan of things going on in the background without my knowledge! 👍🐧
