Since the new system update the "emergency call" button is too easy to hit when keying in you device password. I have never accidentally hit it before but have hit it three times in the past week since the software upgrade. Perhaps it should be separated more from the key pad.
How can I turn off emergency call? Almost every time I am out mowing the grass, with the phone's screen off in my pocket, I end up phoning the RCMP. All I can figure out is to use Airplane Mode - but then I cannot receive any calls. This happens almost every time I cut the grass - tho' it also happened once when I was out walking. I do not want to have to use airplane mode.
Having exsctly the same problem as well. Initially thought it was "Emergency SOS" setting but after turning that off still calling RCMP when mowing the grass. Either its the lock screen or power off screen, either one I can't find a way to remove this feature.
