over the last few months. i have noticed slowly losing my saved pictures, camra/download/snapchat/so on from my galaxy s8+. it started out being random pictures. but recently it has become full albums. i no lately there has been an issue with the s9 sending photos out to contqcts but on my s8+ i have completly lost albums. albums/photos i have saved dirrectly to mem card aswell as to the phone directly. why is my phone removing most of my photos. its from misc albums and camra roll itself. i originally tthought maybe it had to do with my sync and my galaxy tablet but since turning sync off from all of my devices it has actually gotten worse i canf help but lose everything i try to keep now. i figured if i saved everything to my mem card as well maybe i could keep them but it has only gotten worse and now its just rediculas. hope you can fix this bug as its getting quite annoying now and getting unbearable.

Why I feel like you use Google Photos app?
Are you using Google Photos app? There's an option where all images are backed up and then deleted from phone memory to save space, in Google photos. Turn it off.
There is no bug like this exists on S8, so no fix will ever come either.

Google Photos and OneDrive both have the option to automatically "clear space" by erasing pics and videos that were backed up online, as RichMan said. So try to see if that's something you enabled.

Second, cheap counterfeit SD Cards are saving content on inexistant storage. Thus you'll end up with no data. Make sure you don't use fake external storage.

Hey @ShaneMcIn, as members mentioned, could you please confirm if you are using Google Photos or OneDrive on your device? Thanks!
