Galaxy SI agree with your complaint 1,000%. I have an irregular schedule and very often set alarms for all sorts of different times, for example getting up to catch an early morning flight, preparing for a meeting, planning to take a short nap, alarm to warn that someone is going to be arriving shortly, alarm to take things from the oven. (Btw: I usually set three alarms for every event in case I don't hear the first one.)
My preference would be to create alarms 6 minutes apart for all 24 hours of the day. And then for any desired time when I want an alarm to go off I could activate three alarms in the same time frame by just clicking on them, without having to take extra time to set up something new.
Right now the Samsung I use is restricted to 100 maximum alarms. And I frequently have to revise some of those alarms and change them for some new need. Why should there be a restriction on the number of alarms that you can have set up on your device? It just wouldn't seem that it should take many resources. In my case 240 would be the perfect ideal number. I would set up alarms once on a new phone, and then never have to think about it again other than selecting what I wished to activate for a particular event.
