Messenger won't sync

Hey, just upgraded to an S24, used smart switch to transfer data, but facebook messenger won't sync the last few days conversations. It also isn't even showing a videochat I made on the phone to family in the history. Does anyone know how to fix it?

It's most likely to be a Facebook Messenger problem. 

Try logging out & logging back into Messenger. 

You could also try Clearing the Cache from the Facebook Messenger app.

See if that works for you?

I did that, and cleared the cache, did the software update. Didn't work, but thanks for the advice

It's also possible that the issue is with Facebook's Servers. Have a look at the Screen Shot below from Down Detector.

Maybe, guess it doesn't matter as long as future messages sync, and it's showing exchanges I've made since clearing the cache for now. I can always reference the previous ones on a computer. Thanks anyway

Try reseting the phone and reinstall
